Founded in 1942 as Heung-A Tire Co., our company the first tire for vehicles in Korea in 1956 and has since grown into one of the leading brand names in the domestic tire industry and has been attaining noteworthy achievements such as the development of Korea’s first 60 series V-shaped rotation tire.
After we changed the company name in 2000 from Woosung Tire to NEXEN TIRE in order to enhance the image of the company, NEXEN TIRE has been achieving remarkable accomplishments and recording sales growth that ranks it at the top of the global tire industry. We currently have three manufacturing plants in Korea and China and have established a global R&D network in the U,S., China and Germany with our domestics central research institute at the core, developing products with distinguished quality and outstanding performance by quickly responding to ever-changing market needs.
